بنغلادش: إعدام معارضين اثنين من قادة الجماعة الإسلامية

أقدمت السلطات في بنغلادش، مساء السبت، على إعدام المعارضين علي أحسن محمد مجاهد وصلاح الدين قادر تشودري، وذلك بعد وقت قصير على رفض رئيس البلاد، محمد عبد الحميد، التماسهما بالعفو عن حكم الإعدام.

وكان القضاء في بنغلادش قد أصدر حكما بإعدام مجاهد وهو أحد قادة الجماعة الإسلامية، و تشودري وهوعضو سابق في البرلمان عن حزب بنغلادش الوطني، بتهمة ارتكاب جرائم حرب خلال حرب 1971 للاستقلال عن باكستان.

يشار إلى أن مجاهد، البالغ من العمر 67 عاما، أدين بقتل كبار المثقفين في البلاد خلال تلك الحقبة، في حين أدين تشودري، البالغ من العمر 66 عاما، بالإبادة الجماعية خلال الحرب، التي انتهت بانفصال بنغلادش عن باكستان.
